Carolyn Lee
Music has always been my life. I graduated from California State University of Los Angeles with a bachelor's of music in violin performance, and obtained a master's degree in music education from the University of Redlands.
For decades, I have played the violin with the Claremont Symphony. I previously performed with the American Youth Symphony when Mehli Mehta was the conductor.
I currently play the violin, the piano, and the organ at church. I just started monthly appearances at a senior assisted living facility. I am part of a string quartet called Allegra, and we have recently performed for a wedding, a funeral, and another event.
For over thirty years, I have taught piano and violin to private students. I have also taught general music for grade school children. I look forward to teaching music for many years to come.
I was born and raised in Singapore. My husband and I have been married for over twenty-five years, and we have three adult children.
